September, 2008 - Phoebe M’s Quilt
This lovely quilt was made by Phoebe for her daughter. She left it up to me on how to quilt it and I couldn’t resist feathering it a bit. Phoebe has been so happy with this quilt that she’s been showing it off to her friends—I’m not sure when her daughter will receive it!

September, 2008 - Virginia D’s Quilt Award Winner!
I was asked to do something special on this quilt and was told afterwards by Virginia that she intended to enter this into the New Mexico State Fair. She and I were both surprised and pleased when this quilt garnered two awards: 1st Place in Wall Hanging Category, and Best of Show in Wall Hanging. Virginia has already given me her entry for next year’s fair with the request that I make this one special too.

September, 2008 - Signature Quilt
My LQS, Quilt Works, celebrated their 30th year in September 2008. The employees of Quilt Works created a signature quilt for the owners, Shirley and Dana, which was presented earlier this month. I was privileged to quilt this very special quilt. The background fabric was quilted with Sew Fine thread in top and bobbin in a color that blended. A clear monofilament thread was used when quilting in all the colored areas to ensure that the signature blocks remained a focus (rather than the quilting). |

Thank you so much for all the time and
effort you put forth towards completing the quilt. You are truly a
master! The quilt is gorgeous. The pattern and variegated thread you
chose accentuates the colors and really pulls it all together. I feel
so fortunate to have you to help me complete my projects. I am excited
to give the quilt to my two dear friends as a wedding gift in a few
weeks.

Catherine Duncan
When Karen (a friend of ours from San Diego) showed up for a visit, she brought me a quilt from another friend, Catherine. This beautiful batik quilt just did not want to be quilted on Catherine’s domestic machine—lucky me! I had great fun creating large free form feathers which give the solid color backing its own look. — Kat

This adorable quilt didn’t need a lot of quilting as it will be used for snuggling and not sit on a wall. Sheli asked for a rubber duck border and DH Daryl created one just for this quilt. I then did free form quilting to create the look of water for those adorable ducks to float upon. — Kat |

Thank you so much for completing the quilt. It is so beautiful. I do love how the leaf pattern turned out especially with your choice of variegated thread. Gosh, you do such marvelous magic with quilts! My sister-in-law will love her Nana's heirloom quilt for sure. Thank you again for putting it all together for us.

I would like to use you in the future... and will recommend you to anyone I know that is looking for a machine quilter that does excellent work.

Oh my gosh... the Lone Star quilt is just gorgeous! Thank you so much for the fabulous job of quilting -- the starburst quilting design and your thread choice has brought the quilt and matching sham to life. It is going to be challenging for me to wait another 3 weeks until I can give it to my daughter for her birthday. You did such a wonderful job with the binding and adding the signature square.
And, thank you for the great job you did with the Civil War quilt. As I mentioned, I started it many, many years ago... it was one of those projects stuck in a drawer for a long time, but I'm happy I finally finished it and you were able to put it all together for me.
Thanks again for your excellent work! I've given your name and website to my aunt and her friends who live in Southern California, so you may be hearing from them in the upcoming year.

Thank you so much for bringing my quilts to LIFE! I'm a novice quilter and these are the first quilts I've ever had quilted. They turned out just beautiful. For the first time, I feel like a REAL quilter! The variegated thread was a beautiful touch to both quilts. I can't wait to get started on another quilt for you to make look so nice and professional for me.

July, 2005 - Whole Cloth Quilt (Commissioned)
I'm enjoying the lovely quilt very much. It is lightweight, easy to wash, and very beautiful.
Thank you for the unique design and all your hard work.
Cheers,
Barbara
This whole cloth quilt was commissioned by Barbara who asked for a simple design. My DH (Daryl) created several designs to choose from, and Barbara liked this one the best. Due to the success of this project I now have a waiting list for whole cloth quilts!

I received the quilt today. It is just gorgeous! You did a fantastic job! The workmanship is superb, not only with regard to the quilting, but also the binding. I love the heart leaf design. Your choice of the teal thread really compliments the colors of the quilt. You definitely have a great eye for color and design. Thank you for being such a perfectionist.
